Not for Opacity's Eyes

Yesterday, I broke down and brought an iTunes pre-paid music card. There were some songs I really wanted and I don't know anyone that has the cd and I was NOT going to purchase a cd for one song.

As things go, one of the songs I wanted wasn't even offered at iTunes. The others, one I found online (the record company had a free download), the other I have to delete in 24 hours and one I got from iTunes. It was painless (except if Opacity is reading this) but I feel dirty.

I have been ripping my cds but I have made my first digital music purchase. I am legal now but why don't I feel so good?

$5 Rebate

In good faith, I brought 2 Wiley books and was suppose to receive a $5 rebate for each book. They shipped the checks on 9/17/2004 and the fucking idiot of a postman never put the checks in my mailbox.

So I called customer service and they will not reissue the checks since they are under $5.00. So my question was who gets to keep the $10.00?? She couldn't answer that.

Now I will make it my mission (for this week) to harass a company. I will send a letter to both the The Express Group processing center and Wiley to let them know that I want my $10.00 or a free book of my choosing!

I will keep you posted of my campaign!

Life's a Pinata

I didn't want to keep putting posts that were unrelated to my "work-issues" on my other blog so I decided to split my personality once again and get some more shit out! LOL

So why "Life's a Pinata", you ask. Because sometimes when you think about life you get so excited. All the goodies it holds inside and you can't wait to get them. Once you decide to do all you can to get these treats, you realize that the fucking pinata is made of steel.

It's gonna take a lot of work. You may not get all the treats but the few that you knock out every once in a while are perfect!
